Hello! I’m Nikki, a 31 year old Scottish lass and dog lover who now calls Melbourne home :)

I’m available for one-off, short term or ongoing walks, visits and doggy day care in South Kingsville and surrounding suburbs (Yarraville, Newport, Seddon, Altona, Altona North, Williamstown etc). I also offer a safe and comfortable home for your dog to stay while you are away on holiday or out of town. Your dog will also be in the company of my gorgeous dog, Sophie. She's gentle and very friendly with other dogs, and loves a good play and run around in the park or at the beach.

Given the current COVID situation I’m WFH at the moment so I'm generally at home all day during the week. I don't work on Wednesdays though, so like weekends, those days are pretty clear, although I may be out and about occasionally during the day or in the evening. The good thing is though that my dog Sophie will always be there for doggy company. I can provide more info on my specific availability once I know your request. I’m comfortable with all breeds/sizes/temperaments of dogs and I’m happy to incorporate any training tips or techniques you use for consistency.

For walking, I’m very fit and active and love being outdoors so will be able to keep up with (and tire out!) fast/energetic dogs (and if I can't then my dog, Sophie, will!). However we do still enjoy more leisurely walks for those who may prefer a more relaxed way of life! I have a car and full licence so I can drive to local dog-friendly parks/beaches for more interesting walks as well. Oh, and I also have an awesome throwing arm for sticks and balls :)

For visits, I’ve got plenty of time for playing and cuddles so your dog will get the best care and attention possible. You can let me know if you'd like me to bring my dog with me so your dog can have some doggy company too.

Standard walks/visits are 30mins, however I’m open to discussing extra time if required. Prices assume a drive of up to 10mins each way, so will vary slightly for locations further away. Please contact me for a more accurate cost :)

For boarding/doggy day care, I live in a medium sized 2 bedroom townhouse in South Kingsville with my partner and dog (no kids). We have a secure courtyard with decking and grass. I'm currently working from home so there will be plenty of time for attention and cuddles throughout the day during the week. On work days I walk my dog for 30mins in the morning before work and go for a longer walk in the evening (30-60mins). I sometimes fit in a quick lunchtime walk as well. On non-work days I can do a couple of 30-60min walks and I'll be around most of the time for company/playing/cuddles as well. Your dog will have the option of staying inside or outside during the day, and can sleep in our living area, garage or courtyard at night. My preference is for me and Sophie to build a relationship with your dog via walks/day care before agreeing to boarding.

Most importantly, I’m friendly, kind, respectful, reliable and trustworthy, and will care for your dog as if they were my own. I would also like to build trusting relationships with owners so the connections can be friendly, strong and lasting.

I’m happy to meet for a coffee before agreeing to any walks/day care/boarding so you can check if I’d be a good fit and if your dog and Sophie get along, as I understand the importance of making sure both you and your dog are happy and comfortable :)
