I am an extremely caring animal lover. I am well-equipped to care for animals, as I am studying nursing and marine biology at my university and am prepared for possible emergencies. Classes at my University taught/teach me how to have the utmost deepest respect for every unique animal.
My hours are very flexible and since most of my classes are online, this allows me to have very flexible hours to walk and care for animals. I typically walk for 45 minute increments with pets, and make sure to bring a water dish and water. I have pet sat at homes for typically 3-5 days, but am willing to commit to longer stays as well.
I have recently especially enjoyed petsitting at the pet's home
because it allows for extra comfort for the pets and also allows me to have a bit of a break from my everyday university routine. Considering the amazing public transportation system, I have had no issues getting to petsitting gigs, to university, and to home.
I have a soft spot for misunderstood animals, and am able to appreciate the unique habits and behaviors of each. I have one 10-year-old Lhasa Apso who I have had since I was 8 years old. I have taken care of small dogs, large dogs, sassy cats, blind animals, high energy animals, reptiles, sick animals, and many others. I have had a deep love for animals ever since I was a little girl which makes petsitting therapeutic for myself.
Many pet-parents have trusted me with their fur-babies, and I am hoping you will too! :)
Chelsea did a great job of taking care of our cat while we were away, and was able to help us out at short notice.
Chelsea is lovely and was great with our dog. We could tell our dog had a great time with her and we’d be very happy to book her again in future.
