I am a retired teacher and have lived on the Western Port and Mornington Peninsulas over the last 30 years. I love animals and often mind family and friends’ pets. My last dog, Maggie, passed nearly two years ago so family and friends help me out by allowing me to look after, and love, their pets when they travel. 

I have owned over the years: parrots, cats, and dogs: 2 Pomeranians, a Dachshund, 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, 2 Australian Terriers and Jack Russells. Small to medium sized dogs preferred.

I live in a quiet home, without any pets, in Somerville close to walking areas and dog parks if your dog has a social personality. The walking park at Hastings foreshore is a short distance by car; I am a regular walker and particularly enjoy the company of dog.

I would like to have two dogs maximum, only if from the same home, otherwise one dog at a time to board so I can give them my full attention and be able to walk them.

The back garden is fully fenced so your dog/s will be safe and secure to freely roam around the yard. It also has an outside undercover area. There is a doggy door for your dog/s to come and go as they please. Whilst your pets are with me my home with be their home.
