Hi there!

My name is Caitlin. I'm a 23y/o animal lover, a second-year nursing student at the University of Newcastle, and former veterinary nurse.

I enjoy spending time outdoors having fun and relaxing with a book or movie at the end of a long day.

At my previous place of employment in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, we offered pet sitting and walking services to clients and I came to quite enjoy it. I have since left the veterinary industry but have continued pet sitting! I love my clients' pets like my own and have had a number of regular and repeat clients.

I have cared for high needs patients in my work and also house sat some of these patients at home, giving their families peace of mind while they were away. I find that pets come to trust me quite easily, even if they experience anxiety.

Services I can offer to your furry, feathered or scaly friends include taking them for a walk, general enrichment activities, house visits, and pet sitting in your own home.

The length of walks and house visits is something I tailor to your individual needs, but this often falls between half an hour to an hour.

As I am a student and work casually in retail, I am generally able to spend most of my day (and always all night) with house sitting clients’ fur babies - only leaving to pick up supplies and the occasional short shift during the day.

I am not a TAFE certified groomer but am quite capable of performing basic grooming including the safe use of clippers and scissors for a neat tidy up, trim, or shave. I can also safely bathe your pet and trim their nails.

I am happy to undertake general housekeeping whilst pet sitting, such as caring for the garden, collecting mail, upholding the cleanliness of the house and other tasks of similar nature. At home, I have my mischievous greyhound Bobby who is generally very independent, and my partner Andrew.

Please note: if you will be using video surveillance to monitor sitter movements, I only ask that you disclose this when we meet.

Just as we all want our pets to be safe and cared for, I too want to feel safe and respected.
