Hi I'm Sonia, I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my whole life. I Iove the companionship pets provide and dog sitting/ walking suits my solo lifestyle. I don't currently have any pets so can ensure that your furry friend will get my full attention. I have a calm, relaxed nature which animals respond well to.

Dog sitting in my home

I have been dog sitting for about 7 years for family and friends. I'm currently on a career break from providing professional disability services so have the time and energy to provide the best possible care to your pet. I will follow your pets specific routine and schedule to ensure a positive experience and minimal disruption for them.

I live near lots of beautiful parks so there are many places for your pet to sniff and explore on walks. I'm happy to walk your dog for up to 1 hour twice per day on its lead. I can give oral medication to your dog and also brush its coat if needed but I'm not able to do any dog training. I will only sit one clients dogs at a time (up to maximum of 2 dogs) so you don't need worry about them interacting with other pets .

I have a secure paved back yard that is fully fenced so the environment is safe. Your dog will sleep outside or inside downstairs according to your preference. It's a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. I'm happy to send you daily photo updates so you can see what your dog is up to whilst you are away and to provide you with peace of mind they are getting the best possible care.

Dog walks

I am available to walk your dog for 30 minutes to up 1 hour on its lead. I enjoy the exercise and getting outside into nature and exploring local parks.
