I'm an experienced vet nurse who now prefers to offer quality pet care for owners who want the peace of mind of knowing their pets are being more than just looked after.
I treat all owner's pets as if they are my own and take the responsibility of their well-being and safety very seriously. I love all breeds, ages and sizes of any pets you have. Treat your special fur, finned, or feathered baby to a "staycation" with me!
Sometimes you may have quite a few pets, or an elderly pet, and it may make more sense for them to stay in their own home. I can come visit them up to twice daily and ensure they get fed, have fresh water and someone to play with every day you are away.
If your dog is bored at home because you work long hours, why not have him spend the day with me? I also offer a doggy day care service.
I have been a professional pet sitter more than 5 years now and can not imagine doing anything else.
I have personally owned just about every pet possible under the sun, from Salamanders to Horses and everything in-between.
Here is a partial list:
Guinea pigs, Salamanders, goldfish, tropical fish, cats, budgies, a cockatiel, a Labrador x Golden Retriever, 2 rescue cats, a Pug, 2 horses, a sheep, chickens....the list goes on.
I have experience caring for Bearded Dragons and Hermit Crabs too!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- I can administer medications
-Depending on size and personalities, I can sometimes have up to 5 dogs at my place.
- Dogs that require exclusive care ie: aren't social with other dogs, will attract a 50% extra daily surcharge.
Puppies ( dogs under 12 months old) will attract an extra $10/ night surcharge.
-Dog walks are on average 30 minutes and owners must supply a Halti or Canine bridle if your dog is known to pull. I will not walk dogs with just their collar or harnesses on.
-I am a full-time professional pet sitter, so I am available to the pets 24/7 unless I am grocery shopping or have an appointment outside of my home.
- There are no others living in my home, so no children, housemates or partner are present.
-Dogs sleep inside unless otherwise requested by the owner.
-My yard is fully fenced with locked gates and security cameras are present and running 24/7.
