I have been an animal caretaker for over ten years, starting from when I would walk our family labrador twice a day on the beach. This commitment to care continued for other animals, such as my rescue hamster, horses, cockatiels, cats, chickens, fish, and hermit crabs! I became the neighborhood animal caretaker (included bird and cat sitter) and dog walker for five years in my apartment complex because people knew I loved animals and took excellent care of them. Furthermore, I have been a Best Friends animal volunteer for the past six years, where I managed rescue dogs and maintained a safe, clean, and and positive environment for them. During high school and uni, I learned the medical aspect of animals by working as a vet assistant. I learned how to administer medicine and fluids, take vitals, and how to proceed with checkups to ensure a health and happy pet. Therefore, not only will your pet receive the best care from an emotional standpoint, but a phyiscal one as well. I am looking for dog sitting and walking as a way to enrich my life, as my current housing situation disallows animals and I love having them in my life.
