Background

Growing up, I was surrounded by my family pets and the pets of others. Naturally, I gained considerable experience in caring for, reading and training various animals. Animals in general, particularly dogs, bring irreplaceable joy to my life and I have many fond memories spending hours with my wonderful fur-friends. However, the renter life is not always compatiable with the dream of owning my own fur baby. To fill the void, I instead seek the opportunity to help others care for their precious furry loved ones.

Pet-sitting

I have been a pet sitter for over 5 years (unoffically - friends, colleagues etc.) and have experience caring for dogs, cats, snakes, fish and birds. Most notably I have worked with special needs pets who need daily mediciation, special food, attention, lots of walks and/or other home comforts to keep them safe and happy while the parents are away. I have also worked with puppies that required basic command, lead and road safety training. These are skills I reiterate when working with any dog in open spaces (i.e. walks/ parks). I understand that it can be an anxious time for owners and pets alike and happily send 'mum and dad' updates to relieve any concerns. As a bonus, I can bring the mail in, water the plants and ensure the bin goes out as necessary.

Walking

I myself love the company of pets and walks alike. When it comes to dog walking, I live in Sandy Bay and work in Moonah. I will happily take Moonah companions for walks during the working week (i.e. lunch breaks). Closer to home, I can work in walks before or after work.
