Hi, I’m Bettina! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a veterinarian father, I was surrounded by pets of all kinds, and my passion for their well-being has only grown over the years.

My experience in Pet Care started from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering in home settings and farms over the years. Over the past year, I have been pet sitting at home as my only job and find immense joy doing it. I would love spending the rest of my life looking after my furry mates. I’m currently studying Animal Behaviour & Welfare and intend to learn Grooming during the second half of 2025.

I live in a house with a friend (who works full time outside of the house) a few meters away from Byron Park -very quiet park- where we can walk around, play fetch, frisbee, tag of war, or any games the pet enjoys. I have a 15 meter leash I use tied to a tree for dogs so they can play/run around safely at the park under my constant supervision. 

My daughter Kimba works from my home usually 2 days a week during the day (night if needed occasionally) and she is happy to help with pet’s play, walks, supervision, etc. I have a small fully fenced/secured backyard where we can also play/hangout. 

Pets are free to be/sleep anywhere in the house -except my friend’s room. The rest of the house is fully accessible to them: 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, covered secured semi-outside area and the backyard.

 • Daycare & Boarding: Two 20–30 minute walks included, with 24/7 care for boarding and 8–10 hours of supervision for daycare. Up to 3 dogs at a time as long as they are socialised and their owners agree to it, although one or two is usually the case.

 • Walking Services: Walks range from 45 minutes to 1 hour. I can walk up to 4 socialized dogs at a time.

 • House Visits: One-hour visits (longer if needed), including feeding, playtime, cleaning, and additional tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, and taking out trash.

 •. House Sitting: 24 hours stay at your home

 • Medication Administration: Experienced with oral/topical medications (excluding injections).

I walk a small dog at least 3 mornings a week for one hour, usually on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, in North Ryde up to Santa Rosa Park on a pedestrian and bike track alongside a creek, trees, and wild life. I pick up the dog while the owners are at work so I have my own key. They can be contacted for a reference if necessary (ex- Pawshake sitters). Other dogs come along on this walk sometimes -their parents can also be contacted for references. 

Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are my top priorities. I treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they receive plenty of love, play, and care. If you have any questions or special requests, I’d love to chat!
