Important highlights for potential Boarding: 

• Much love provided with safe environment dog cannot escape from (as long as lead and harness you supply are very secure) 
• 5th floor apartment - no yard but fabulous big park directly across road and most dogs love to sit on the verandah and look out at the world
• Early morning 30 - 40 minute proper walk provided free of charge. Thoughout the day several other smaller toilet break walks/wanders are provided
• Body Corporate requirements - photo, desexing certificate, council registration, microchip certificate, vaccination certificates - at least 1 week beforehand
• If a stay longer than 2 nights we require a tester day and night (free of charge) to make sure your pet/s is/are happy
• No other pets in the home - we take 1 or 2 dogs from same home only

I love all (most!) animals, always have, always will. Right from when I was a little girl and apparently used to pick up cane toads out of our pool and take them inside to show them to my parents! (Must say, not fond of cane toads now..)

I am a yoga teacher who works one weekday morning and 2 evenings from home. I have lots of time available during the early morning and the middle of the weekday plus weekends for local animal visits, walks and cuddles. I am a pescatarian. I love being close to animals and they bring me a lot of joy so, hopefully it is a win for me and a win for your pet. 

Please note that I only do visits for indoor cats and dogs that have fully fenced yards and are not known to escape.  

I was a wildlife carer for 6 years, taking care of orphaned or injured possums until they were ready for soft release into the wild. We have also fostered rescue dogs while they waited for their forever home. 

I travel very locally. I live in Scarborough so I service Scarborough, Newport, Kippa Ring and Redcliffe. I only visit places that have easy street parking or on site parking.  

I do cat cuddles, pats and games while making sure they are safe and fed. Some cats prefer that I merely make sure they are fed, watered and checked on. I am happy to obey their instructions if they tell me clearly to get out of their home 😁. 

I walk dogs, keep them company, play games and make sure they are ok. I do not do off leash walks or games and I do not take dogs to off leash dog parks. I am happy to play games in their own yard and take them for leashed walks.  

I keep you updated with photos and updates, depending on what your preferences are.

I can put medication in your pet's food if you need me to. I do not do pet medication that requires injections or putting tablets/capsules alone down their throat. I can collect mail, water plants or put the bin out. 

I realise all pet owners will have individual requirements and I shall only agree to jobs that I know I can fulfil to the highest standard. 

My husband and I have house/pet sat on another website. We have done 9 sits and have 5 star reviews, living in homes and caring for beloved pets. I can show screen shots if needed. The sits we have done around Australia and overseas have been for dogs, cats, chickens and goldfish. 

I also understand the importance of making sure your home is secure when I leave. We have our own home and I understand how hard most of us work for our home and possessions and that we need to trust that any visitors will respect that. 

We lost our beloved 15 year old Scottish Terrier in April 2025 so we are now keen to provide pet boarding in our apartment as it is very empty here without precious paws around. I take 1 or 2 dogs, from the same home only. For Body Corporate permission we would need a photo, copy of Council registration, microchip certificate, desexing certificate and current vaccination certificate. You would therefore need to get these documents to me at least a week before the sit so there is time for Body Corporate permission. 

Your dog also must be house trained and not known for destructive behaviour. I would ask you to please be honest and realistic about your dog's behaviour and if they require a house with a yard please be aware that that is not what we offer here with our apartment. Please also consider whether your dog is one that jumps up. We live on the 5th floor and would prefer dogs that do not jump up. 

However what we do offer is a very very safe and loving environment where there is no chance your precious dog can escape and where your dog (or dogs) will be the only dog/s here. 

If you were looking at a sit for longer than 2 nights we would also want to have your dog as a trial run for 2 days/1 night (free of charge) to be sure they settle in here before making a larger time commitment. That would put your mind and my mind at rest to know that your dog will be okay at our place for a longer period of time. 

Your dog will have the run of the open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and verandah of our apartment, which is where we spend most of our time. However they will have no access to any of the bedrooms, including ours, at any time. Your dog shall be sleeping in the loungeroom overnight and you will see on the meet and greet that the lounge is not far from our main bedroom. 

Please also be aware that Doggy Day Care is up to approximately 9 hours long. If you wish to drop your dog off at 7am and collect at 7pm (for example) please book in for an overnight stay as 12 hours is beyond a standard day. The same applies to Dog Boarding. A day of Dog Boarding is 24 hours. If you will be dropping your dog off in the morning and not collecting till the afternoon of the following day please book in for 1 night of Dog Boarding plus one Doggy Day Care. These bookings can be adjusted for regular clients.

A half hour walk would be included free of charge in the Dog Boarding overnight stay. However if you wanted longer walks or more than one proper walk daily that would be the additional walk cost.  

For the meet and greet you would be welcome to come over with your pooch to our place and look at where your pet will be staying.  

We live across the road from a large park and the beach walking track so we will be taking your dog out for toilet breaks regularly. 

We would provide a loving home and ask you to bring the dog's bed, food etc so its routine is changed as little as possible. We are home for a lot of the time and there would be no other pets here. 

We have had one or two dogs for over 31 years of our 32 years married life together and I completely understand the importance of our pets and how we need to know they are safe, sound and loved while we are away. I will do my utmost to care for your pet/s in your home, or your one or two dogs in my home and let you know they are safe and well.
