Hey, I'm Cassie!
I love all animals and I have lived my life surrounded by them! Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses you name it! I have experience with most breeds of dog, cats and small animals. I have been pet sitting / dog walking for three years and I've had my own greyhound for two years.
About us:
My partner Nathan and I both work part time shift work. Nathan works at a gym and I work in mental health / social work. Between us one of us will be home most of the time, your dog may be left alone occasionally for up to 3 hours at a time, but never long hours.
About our home:
We live in a 2 bedroom apartment on the Preston / Thornbury border which is close to a few dog friendly parks. We take dogs on multiple short walks a day due to being in an apartment (morning, 2x afternoon, evening). We have a spare room which is unoccupied and used as an extra chill out space for dogs. Due to apartment living we are best suited for low energy dogs who are house trained (for home boarding). We have boarded mostly other greyhounds before, also older small breed dogs (cavalier, pug, poodle).
Our pet:
We have our own greyhound named Misty, she is 6 years old and loves all other dogs but other greyhounds especially!! She sleeps 95% of the day and eats and walks for the rest. She is extremely placid and friendly with all dogs, including small dogs and high energy/playful dogs!

Couldn't have been happier with Cassie as a dog sitter. Almost felt as though my dog Ronnie didn't want to leave. Cassie was great throughout the whole process and kept me updated constantly on Ronnie with messages and pictures. Couldn't recommend enough.
Cassie has taken care of our cat, Ruby, twice now. She is great with Ruby and makes sure to stay in contact the whole time that we were away. Cassie seems like a really genuine person and a true animal lover.
