OUR EXPERIENCE

In Colombia, for at least 20 years, Antonio has lived with dogs, sometimes 4 at a time! He's been the primary caretaker of at least 8 dogs of different breeds/mixes. He was also raised with, and cared for, birds such as chickens, ducks, parrots, turkeys, Guinea chickens, pigeons and other birds. Reptiles such as 3 iguanas, 2 chameleons and 1 alligator! And also cats, turtles, rabbits, one monkey, one otter, 20 cuis (similar to hamsters), four agouties, two capybaras, and many other animals of various species! He also studied aquaculture in Australia, so he can feed and care for fishes even at scale.

In Brazil, Kelly has cared for dogs, chicks, and betta fishes. In the US, cats. In Australia, Kelly has lived with 2 French bulldogs, 1 Golden Retriever, and a mixed breed.

Together, in Australia, since Dec. 2021, we've done upwards of 10 pet + home sits in WA (Maylands, Scarborough, Dianella, Embleton, and Bayswater) , caring for dogs, cats, chickens and a guinea chicken. We always have a lovely time and have had requests to return.

Dog breeds we cared for in WA, age range 1 - 15, include: 2 Maltese crosses, 1 Schnauzer cross, 1 Kelpie x Pitbull x Other, 1 Kelpie x Border Collie, 2 Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 1 Basenji, 1 King Charles cavalier, 1 Long hair jack russell, and 1 Groodle (Goldendoodle). Just not all at the same time. =)

OUR MOTIVATION

You know it: animals are awesome! (Did you know that humans are also animals?)

We can't have pets ourselves at the moment, so we happily turn to our community. Pet + home sits have become our favourite kind of staycation.

OUR SERVICES & AVAILABILITY

For pet + home sits we can spend 6 hours or more each day with the pets. We'll take whatever security measures you say we should, bring in your mail, and water your plants, if wished.

For pet walks and home visits, we spend a minimum of 30 minutes each time.

We tend to maintain the routine, unless asked otherwise.

We can train dogs.
