Hi! My name is Laura and I just relocated to Perth from the US. I have been a house and pet sitter since I first moved to New York City over 10 years ago. The majority of my professional work in New York involved working intimately in people's homes. I have worked as a nanny, professional organizer, and personal chef. During the pandemic, I spent almost two years traveling around the US utilising my experience to care for pets in many different states. I stayed with many wonderful people and met tons of amazing animals along the way. I have completed some pet sits in Perth as well and have enjoyed getting to spend time with some lovely animals. 

I am a huge dog person and animal lover, and really enjoy getting meet new little (or big) dog/animal buddies! 

I grew up with a German Sheperd named Molly and cannot wait to get a dog of my own someday. My partner and I do not currently have any pets, but we daydream daily about what kind of dog we will get someday soon. 

What I offer:

I offer a variety of pet care services, including administering medication to pets, grooming, and helping pets maintain good habits with their training. With a lot of experience in pet care, I'm confident I can meet the unique needs of your furry friends. When it comes to dog boarding, I limit the number of dogs to two at a time to ensure personalized attention. I also offer dog walks, which can be adjusted based on your pet's needs. While most walks are between 30-45 minutes, I'm happy to go on longer walks, even up to 2-3 hours, if your pet is up for it! I'm an active person, aiming to get 10k steps a day, and would love to have a dog companion for those walks.

I offer up to five dog walks per day and am available to spend as much time with pets as needed, as I am a full-time pet sitter. I would never leave a pet for more than 3 hours during boarding, and only up to 1 hour during daycare. My schedule is flexible, as I work from home and am usually free after my morning workouts at the gym.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment building in East Perth with my husband Dan, who is originally from Ireland but has lived in Perth for 15 years. We don't have any pets of our own, but we love hosting animals and are happy to accommodate them. Our apartment is clean, spacious, and has a large balcony and living area. We're just a short walk from Langley and Wellington parks, where we love to take pets for walks along the river to South Perth.

Guest pets are welcome to sleep anywhere they're most comfortable, although we typically don’t allow them in the bed with us. However, we're flexible depending on the size of the pet. We’re relaxed and pet-loving people, and we’re happy to provide a welcoming and safe environment for your pets. While we don't have a backyard, we are only a 5-minute walk from Langley Park and a 10-minute walk to a fenced dog park, so your pets will have plenty of space to play and explore.
