Hey there, my name is Jana and I am an experienced, passionate, reliable and communicative petsitter!

Back home in Germany, I had a cat since I was 9 years old and took care of all its needs and related duties: feeding, cleaning, playing, cuddling, regular VET visits and so on.

I have professionally worked as a Petsitter on Pawshake in the Netherlands before, and made it my work and hobby to look after dogs and cats next to my studies.

After my studies, I have travelled through Canada and volunteered on many farms and homesteads and helped looking after peoples property and pets including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and cows and so I gained more experiences caring for animals and understanding the responsibility and empathy that comes with it. I also expanded my fascination and love for working with animals.

With all animals, it is so interesting to get to know their character and it is very fulfilling to take care of them.

I also have lots of experiences in childcare, working as an Au-Pair, a different but similar field to petsitting, as caring for children made me the responsible and passionate caregiver i am today.

I'd describe myself as a very curious, reliable, empathetic, flexible and hard-working person and think that it makes me a good petsitter.
