I am a lover of all animals great and small and have a soft spot in my heart for all cats and dogs!!
I have always loved animals and in 2017 I completed my Certificate II Animal studies and gained work at a veterinary clinic in South Hobart where I have been working ever since. I started at the practice as a work placement kennel hand and have made my way up to Veterinary Assistant. At the practoce my assistant duties include; medication administration, consultation assistance, walking, feeding and watering, pre and post operative care and surgery/anesthetic hosting. I work Saturday mornings with only one vet where I am head nurse of the practice. If emergency surgeries are required I am the predominate host of the surgery monitoring anesthetic levels, respiration and pulse rate as well as ensuring the animal is safe.
As well as completing my certificate, I graduated Year 12 at the end of 2018 from
St Mary’s College and am now studying at the University of Tasmania.
I am confident with my duties as a veterinary assistant and will always bring my knowledge and compassionate nature into your home to take the very best care of your pets. I am a reliable and a trust worthy person. Animal care is
somethinf I have always been passionate about and I am
happy and excited to get to know and care for your pets!
Olivia took excellent care of our dog and home. She was friendly and reliable. We would welcome her back again.
I have achieved my Certificate II in Animal Studies through online studies via TAFE NSW which I did so in 2017.
I have a part time job at a veterinary clinic where I have been since the beginning of my studies
I am also currently studying Fast Track Nursing at the University of Tasmania which, as part of my course I required a Police check and immunisation records which I am happy to provide if you require.
