Hi, I'm Erica!

If you're looking for someone who truly gets cats, you're in the right place. I’m a lifelong animal lover and a devoted cat mum who recently moved to Melbourne to pursue a Master’s in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies at Deakin University. While I adore both cats and dogs, I have extensive experience with cats and proudly wear the title of “cat lady” (sometimes prefixed by "crazy" too)!

After the pandemic, seeing the dire situation of street animals, I got involved in rescuing, fostering and TNR (trap-neuter-return) of stray cats. I also took care of 8–10 colony cats who regularly came in and out of my home. Back home, I worked professionally with a pet sitting company for six months. While most of my clients were cats, I did have a couple of mixed-household clients.

My experience with cats includes:

-Administering oral medication, flea treatments, dressing wounds and using asthma pumps

-Understanding and responding to behavioural cues

-Keeping them entertained, happy and stress-free while their owners are away

Note about dogs: I have some experience with dogs, but I prefer to take on dog clients only after a successful in-person meet and greet to ensure comfort for both your pup and me.

In my free time, you’ll find me curled up with a book, dancing, trying new recipes in the kitchen or hiking through a trail.
