Hi, I'm Emma! I’m an experienced dog mum and passionate animal lover based in Greenslopes. My 12-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog passed away two years ago, and while I’m not ready to have another dog of my own yet, pet sitting has been a wonderful way for me to still spend time with dogs and do something I genuinely love.

I now have over two years of dog-sitting experience caring for pets for friends, family, and private clients. While I’m new to Pawshake, I’m not new to looking after dogs. I understand the special bond between pets and their owners, and my goal is always to treat your pets like the soul family they are.

I offer a range of services to suit your needs:

Daily Walks: Ensuring your dog gets plenty of exercise and fresh air. Walks typically last for 30–60 minutes and include urban areas. I also offer optional trips to forests and off-leash areas for play with other dogs. 

Playtime: Engaging activities to keep your dog mentally stimulated and happy, including backyard toy playtime with your pet's favorite toys.

Feeding: Adhering to your dog’s specific dietary needs and schedules.

Medication Administration: I can administer oral medications to pets if required.

Special Care: Experience with giant breeds, Greyhounds, deaf dogs, blind dogs, and dogs that are not good with other dogs (fear aggression).

Overnight Stays: Available at my home, providing comfort and security for your pet. I can also board up to two dogs at my home to ensure they receive ample attention and care.

Grooming and Training: While I do not offer formal grooming or training services, I can provide basic grooming and reinforce training routines.

Daily Routine and Availability:

I work from home, which allows me to supervise guest pets 24/7. This flexibility ensures that pets are rarely left alone – never more than 3 hours during boarding and no longer than 1 hour during daycare. My daily routine revolves around pet care, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day.

Home Environment:

I only take bookings from one owner at a time and require meet and greets first. Pets are welcome inside my home and sleep in my bedroom on the floor in their own beds, providing a quiet and safe environment for them. Someone will be home with the dogs for most of the time unless I need to go out for a few hours. I have a medium-sized backyard that is fully fenced with 6-foot fences and secure gates, offering a safe space for outdoor play and garden exploration.
