Hello! I'm Shannon and I am addicted to caring for animals!

My relaxed work commitments mean I have loads of free time during weekdays and weekends to look after your precious companions. I enjoy being taken for walks, laying in the sun whilst brushing floofy coats, and being told what flavour of treat will be had.

All NEW Bookings are required to complete a complimentary Meet & Greet beforehand. This will ensure that I am the best match for your pet and reassure you that I am comfortable caring for them.

Your pets will get at least half an hour of personal care time with me at each visit: perhaps a nice relaxing walk, playtime with toys, or simple, quiet cuddle time - pets decide the rules after all!

After (or during for House Sitting) each visit, I will send a photo update reassuring you that your companions are happy and well cared for. All dog walking is strictly 'on leash' for your dog's safety. In addition to the usual tasks of cleaning cat litter, and providing fresh food and clean water - I am happy to pop in complimentary extras such as watering plants, checking the mail, and taking rubbish bins out if required.

Due to my extensive experience with cats, I prefer to care for them. However, I am also comfortable caring for small/medium dogs (large dogs, depending on breed) and some other small animals, so please send me an inquiry!

I have owned and cared for various types of pets over the last 4 decades: dogs, cats, birds, rats, and the occasional fish. My own two precious floofs are 14 years old and bring with them all the joy, bossiness, and apathy that senior cats (cats in general) do.

I recently spent two years as a cat foster carer for a rescue organisation. I fostered cats from various backgrounds, some with complex emotional, behavioural, and medical conditions. I am experienced and confident in caring for cats needing a more gentle approach, patience, or extra care, particularly anxiety/senior/daily medication (no injections currently).

My preferred travel range for Dog Walking and Home Visits is within a 5km radius of Notting Hill. 2 x Daily Visits is bordering suburbs only (Clayton, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Mulgrave, Wheelers Hill). Any Bookings outside of my range may incur a travel fee. 

For House-Sitting my range is extended, if you live outside my range and would like house-sitting, please send me an inquiry with your suburb to check if I service your area. 

If I am booked out on the dates you require and you live in Notting Hill or a bordering suburb, please reach out, as I may be able to fit a local day visit in. 

For Home Visits/House-Sitting please ensure there is an ample supply of food, litter, medication, and other necessities. For Dog Walking please provide a secure collar/harness and leash your dog cannot escape from and doggy bags.

What is included in my Services:

Home Visits:

• 30-45min of stay/play. If you require a longer stay or wish to add Dog Walking (morning bookings only), please mention this as it can be included and a discount will be provided.
• Refill of food/water
• Change of cat litter
• Medication administering if required (oral or transdermal only)
• Immediate reporting of any concerns

Dog Walking:

• A 30-minute strictly on-leash-only walk in your local neighbourhood (or park if there is one nearby)
• Walking is only available in the mornings for the health and well-being of your pet and myself

House Sitting:

• Home Visit Services plus any extras required as agreed upon at booking (plant watering, rubbish bins, checking mail etc)
• Daily walking (dogs only, on leash)
