Hello! My name is Sharon and I am a qualified veterinary nurse. I have recently returned to Adelaide after living and working in London.

I am originally from South Australia. I have been doing pet sitting in people's homes for about 7 years. These pets have been mostly cats but I have also looked after dogs, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, birds and fish. I grew up with dogs and cats. I have always been interested in animals and loved their company. They are so unconditionally loving, have a joy for life and really know how to live in the moment. I enjoy making sure that they are safe, comfy and have everything they need. It is lovely to get to know each animal's individual personality and then interact with them accordingly.

I like to do pet sitting as it allows me time with animals outside of my job and I also get to see different parts of the city. Due to my living circumstances I haven't been able to have my own pets for some time so working with them and pet sitting them gives me that interaction.

I know it is a huge thing to trust somebody to look after your precious pet(s) and to allow someone to be in your home, so I take the responsibility very seriously and appreciate the trust given to me.
