Hey, I'm Gemma! I love and adore all animals, and I have a real soft spot for cats! Growing up from a young age I had 2 beautiful cats in my family home which we bought as kittens from the charity Cats Protection 🐈‍⬛🐈 My family and I gave them both so much love, care and affection, they were truly part of the family and ofcourse they loved us back! It was incredibly heartbreaking when they passed, but I can proudly saw we gave them the best long 16 years of life and they will always be in my heart. Since then I have also had the pleasure of loving and looking after my sister's cat Pearl, as we live together in the same house. Although I have never owned a dog, I have plenty of experience looking after friends and family's dogs when they have gone away on holiday. I actually look forward their holidays as I know I get to spend time with their sweet little babies and taking them on lovely long walks!🚶🏼‍♀️🍃 Recently here in Australia I did a 2 month home exchange with a family who needed help with household chores, cleaning and errands. During my time with them, one of my responsibilites was to feed and look after all their pets and animals which included 3 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, ducks and even horses!🐶🐱🐴🐓🦆 It was such an amazing experience getting to work with their beautiful animals and care for them, knowing I was taking one less thing off their plate! I can provide a written reference from this family if required. I am on a working holiday visa in Australia, I love healthy living, exercise (particularly pilates 🧘🏼‍♀️), and part of my daily routine is to go for a long walk in the fresh air. I would love to have some furr babies by my side on my walks as well while also helping people by giving them one less task to do each day, allowing them to relax and spend time with their family and pets at home! 🦮🤎
