My name is Shelby, I'm in my mid 40's working part time as a dental nurse. I adore animals and since my children are all grown and out of the house I decided to love up some pets. I've been living in Australia for 7 years, I come from United States specifically Alaska and Washington State. I've had dogs and cats all throughout my childhood, raised them along with my own 2 adult children and have an 11 year old dog presently.
I have taken care of pets with medical issues as well as healthy vibrant animals and love them all. I’m a believer that animals need air, they need exercise, they need healthy food to eat and a lot of touch to show love and affection. I've cared for all kinds of animals-mainly dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, hamsters, bunnies, birds. I have yet to experience an animal to not respond or connect with me (once we’ve spent a little time one on one) in a positive way. I truly enjoy getting to know each of the animals, to achieve that I work with only 1 families pet(s) at a time.
I’m available for walking your pet and housesitting while youre away or making home visits to your pet while you're away. I prefer walking outside of school transport hours to avoid traffic.

I do tend to fall in love with pets so they'll get lots of touches and cuddles if they're affectionate. The only restrictions here are mean aggressive animals. For dogs a weekly bath is what i generally do unless it's swimming time or they like mud puddles-the animals will be cleaned and brushed at that time as well. I clip nails often on dogs however i don't cut hair/fur. Brushing kitties tend to go over well too.
