ABOUT ME!I am a fashion designer and currently an international student at TAFE Bentley attending the Fashion Business degree where I’m also a student mentor. I work as a part-time designer assistant to a Perth based millinery designer. I've been living in Perth for one year now and I love the city and its people. I love extreme and water sports, since I was an elite swimmer for almost 17 years and I'm looking forward to learning how to surf! Lover of music, art, reading, tattoos and meditation. I enjoy staying at home, but also if there is a good or new band, an art exhibition or pop up market to check I'd just love the experience of going out and seeing new people. Your city is beautiful and I'm always amazed by the everyday gifts life is offering us just by stepping out the door. Because of the discipline swimming gave me, I am very organised and always work to give my best, which sometimes can be a double edge sword! I have one cat back home, Tita, and a little one who is already living on the other side of the rainbow, Pepper. He lived a very short life, nearly 12 months. It was because of cancer but he fought like a true soldier and never lost his spark and joy, which was a lesson learnt from a little creature filled with love to give until his last breath. MOTIVATION & SERVICE *We, as a family had the opportunity as cat sitter once. So that was the training for our parents who were a bit skeptical to having pets especially cats, but we enjoyed it to the fullest and some time later we had two living with us!! Since last year, My husband and I have been cat and house sitting for my flatmate’s mum three furry ladies for several times now, which I love. They all have different personalities and with time they’ve become more comfortable and enjoying our company. *So, as you can tell my main motivation to be a cat sitter is because I love cats and miss my own, so I guess giving some of my love to Aussie cats could be beneficial for both parties! *I can offer my service of cat sitting whether is to visiting them or staying over if they need more attention or company. * A day with the three furry ladies: The service has always been during the weekend starting from Friday to Monday. On Fridays I work with the millinery designer, so in the afternoon after work I head straight to the cats’ house. Check their sand boxes, food and water bowls. I always try to clean immediately after they go, which they really appreciate and love! Just before going to bed, checking again and in the morning as soon as I wake up clean their boxes if they went during the night. I do my studies and take of course time to “pamper them” if they feel like to. By the arrival time of the pet owner I try to leave food and water bowls full if needed and clean sand boxes as well. * If you would like me instead, to only visit your furry one, because I am a full-time student we can check timetables and availability to work something out. *Basic house chores can be done, like picking up the mail, watering the plants, taking the bins out, some vacuuming if needed, and of course keeping the house as tidy and organised as possible for you and your pet. If you may need some other things to help you with, we can discuss them with no doubt · RECOMMENDATIONS & RESTRICTIONS * Pet owners, usually leave enough food, sand and other cleaning products for the period of time they won’t be home. *If there is any special instruction in regards to food or medical condition, they are left written and also in a voice message or something that can be easily accessed if any doubt. * Also emergency numbers, vet and a family friend/relative that has had some previous contact and interaction with your pet is always recommended. Especially if you are leaving to a place where maybe signal reception is not so good. * I will also ask if your cat is vaccinated, only for prevention. * If your cat has a medical condition and is maybe too delicate to take care of, we can always talk it through and decide the best and safest option for the furry one and the cat sitter as well. I believe it is important to be very clear and straight from the beginning with all your cat’s care because what is at stake is its comfort. We need to provide a safe environment and an enjoyable company while you are away. Avoiding any unnecessary stress and changes to its routine.
