Hi my name is Jenny and I am a retired long-term resident of Mt Coolum who loves to keep active which includes hiking, running and regular climbing of Mt Coolum. I have had both cats and dogs as pets for most of my life. My husband (Leigh) and I often look after our daughter's lab cross (37kg) when they are away which includes lots of walking, running and visits to dog beaches in the area. We would love to have our own dog but do not have the space on a full time basis and love to go away a fair bit so looking after your pets would be an ideal solution.
I understand the importance of quality time with your pets (cats or dogs) and that it is not just about feeding or walking them, that they need human interaction and company.
I am available to visit your home to feed and keep your pet company once or twice a day and also walk your dog. I can also have your dog stay at our place if appropriate and acceptable to you. We have a fully fenced back yard with grass and a grassed area at the front which is also fully fenced. I can take your dog for 2 walks a day - we are only a few minutes walk to the Mt Coolum Boardwalk beach. I would be at home for most of the day with your dog and if I do have to go out my husband would be here. If you are agreeable I can also take your dog in our car to a dog beach for extra exercise.
I am prepared to travel within a 10 km radius of Mount Coolum but am negotiable on a case by case basis.
Please feel free to contact me at any time and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies real soon!
Please note that for Dog Boarding and Dog Daycare, to ensure compatibility a "meet and greet" at my place is essential prior to any booking.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Jenny kept in contact often even reporting when she hadn't seen Bella but noted that the left out food was eaten and I was happy to know that she can be a very shy cat with strangers. Robyn
Kale loved his stay - thanks so much Jenny!
