Hi, my name's Miranda.

I'm 26 years old, work full time and live in Mount Barker with my husband Dom, and our 2 cat furbabies, Jasmyn and Ivy.

I signed up to Pawshake because I understand the stress of wanting to go on holidays or away for the weekend, and worrying about your pets being happy and safe. It's hard to find the perfect place for your frubaby to stay without needing up to date vaccinations, or being in a cramped space - so what better place, than your home. It's hard to be away from home without your furbaby, but knowing you have someone who will attend them with as much love as you should help you. And sending photos and videos is how I'll keep you updated on their day.

Although we don't currently have any dogs in our little family, doesn't mean we don't love dogs. Dog walking would be 30-45 mins per week day, and on weekends would be a treat to the dog park (if owner says it's alright, I know some dogs hate the dog park!) Or would be a 30 mins to an hour walk (depending on the weather).

Although I've grown up in a cat household, there's been plenty of dogs around. I used to help my neighbour walking her dog, my best friend has a dog who I've looked after before, and my in laws have 2 Whippets who I adore. Once you've looked after bigger dogs, it makes the smaller ones seem easier to look after.

If you have more than 1 furbaby, they will also get double the attention and love, as my husband will be coming with me to provide all the cuddles.

Cat sitting would be prefered, but dog walking/sitting is not out of the question.

Cat sitting includes house visits - playing, cuddles and feeding. Feeding morning and night is counted as 2x visits - they would get more attention in the night feeding as I will have more time after work. Morning visit would be 10-20 mins, and night visits would be 30 mins to a hour.

Dog sitting includes house visits - playing, cuddles, feeding and walking. Feeding morning and night is counted as 2x visits - they would get more attention in the night visit as I will get more time after work for walks, but can work out with owner what works best for their dog. Dog sitting is at the owners house only, I can not currently accomodate to dogs at my house.

Morning visits would be 10-20 minutes, and night visits would be 30 mins to an hour (an hour if includes a walk).
