I adore dogs. I always have. And I did everything in my power to convince my parents to get a family dog when I was 9. My first dog was a maltese cross named Elmo, and later I adopted a border collie cross kelpie named Ollie. I also have experience with staffies, labs, wolfhounds, bulldogs, german shephards, rotties, daschunds, whippets and a lot of mixed breeds of all ages.

Right now I live in an apartment, so cannot have a canine companion of my own, but I would love to make some more four-legged friends. I walk around Morningside, Hawthorne and Bulimba nearly every day and would love walking companions. I work from home Wednesday to Friday and have weekends off, so have flexibility to pick up your pooch for a fun outing mornings or evenings from Wednesday through to Sunday. I will walk your dog, or can visit your property to give them lots of attention for between 30-60mins.

My mother fosters dogs (so I visit her regularly to help out) and I am very familiar with adapting based on the dog's needs - from the more active (remember the border collie cross kelpie!? You could not tire him out no matter how hard you tried) through to the stubborn "this grassy spot looks like a good place to lie down" type. I've worked to train dogs to heel while walking and am more than happy to maintain whatever rules you have for your pet (including sitting before crossing the street and stopping if they try to pull on the lead).
