Hello fellow cat lovers!
My name is Cloe and I would love to look after your furbaby while you’re away having adventures. I am a responsible and reliable cat sitter in Brunswick West. I've been a pet owner most of my life, like you, I can't imagine not having an animal companion in my life. I have had mice, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, a scorpion, dogs and cats. I'm 33 and work in academic support at Melbourne University and in my spare time I like to make ceramics. I also enjoy spending time with friends (and their pets) and hanging out with my cat Chirico (she turned 11 this year!). I am the go to person to look after my friends cats when they go away. I love it so much that I would love the opportunity to look after your cat too!
I am a kind, considerate, attentive, quiet person and I have an instant rapport with animals, especially cats - even from a young age (I may be part cat whisperer!). I have had the pleasure of looking after a range of different cats, please see my photos for cuteness overload. I’ve been lucky enough to look after over 60 cats (and counting) through pawshake! I am confident in providing your cat with the best care. I am well trained in feeding, refreshing water, changing litter, play time, brushing and cuddles. I will treat your cat with the same care and respect that I give mine (she's pretty spoilt!).
My cat and most of my clients cats are rescues so I understand the special needs of rescue pets. I am familiar with all types of cat behaviour and can work around the needs of your pet. I am especially good with cats that are shy or experience anxiety with new people. I take the time to form a bond with your cat and make sure they are comfortable with me. I am also aware of what signs to look for if your cat is feeling unwell. I am able to provide simple medication treatments to your cat if required. More than happy to discuss any other specific needs your furbaby may have.
I will send regular updates that suit you and plenty of cute photos to give you peace of mind. I spend at least 30 minutes (often more) with your cat on each visit and happy to discuss longer visits if required. I can do both morning and afternoon visits. No additional costs for multi-cat households, the more the merrier! More than happy to help out with household duties when I visit such as watering plants, bringing in mail and taking the bins out.
Thanks for taking the time to view my profile, please send me a message and we can go from there!
I was very happy that Cloe was able to look after Juno, our cat, when we went away for the weekend. Cloe visited our house to look after Juno's needs and kindly gave us an update. Before we went away Cloe came over to meet us and took time to get to know Juno. I hope that Cloe can look after Juno again!
Cloe looked after my cat beautifully. My cat (Lucy) is 18 years old with some kidney disease and Cloe was very mindful of this. It required monitoring Lucy's food and water intake and extra cleaning of the litter tray due to the increased output.
Cloe spent time brushing Lucy's cheeks, which she loves and settling her for the evening with some heat mats.
I would absolutely use Cloe's services again and would recommend her to any potential clients.
