We are an english family of 5 living in Camberwell. We have 3 chickens, Bella, Delilah and The Colonel, 2 guinea pigs, Pinny and Gig, a rabbit called Roger and an eastern long necked turtle called Squirtle. All the animals except Squirtle live outside in a large grassy garden, but do come inside for visits. I am a nurse who works 12 hr shifts. This usually gives me a chunk of days off in a row. I have a husband and 3 children aged 15, 11 and 8 years who are all animal mad.

We would love to petsit as we would really love to own a dog but don't want to take on another pet full time. Our current pets are all unwanted/rescue/needed a home and they have helped to develop our love of animals. My 16 year old son loves taking friends dogs for walks and my 12 year old daughter is desperate to be old enought to do volunteer work with animals. She is adamant that she will become a vet and she does indeed seem to have a knack with the animals, noticing if they are not themselves and calming them if needed. My 9 year old daughter finds cuddling a rabbit or chicken very therapeutic when she needs to get her emotions in check.

We primarily would like to have dogs to stay or to walk and are comfortable with them inside or out. We would judge how they would be in the garden with the chickens as some friend's dogs have been fine, some not so. However we are close to lots of parks for long walks if they couldn't run in the yard.

Other animals are also welcome, with the exception of cats as my husband is allergic to them. I am comfortable with turtles and have learned a lot about them from our reptile vet. I am also fine with most other animals and I'm happy to chat if you have a specific need.
