My name is Katie and I am a full-time university student at the University of Melbourne.
I am an international student and have a dog back home whom I miss dearly but I get sent photos of him on the regular :p
The only reason why I don't have a pet here is that I fly back home at least once a year and it wouldn’t be fair to leave them here :(
Pet sitting would help YOU out when you're busy and also benefit ME since I love playing with/looking after/the companionship of pets.
I love all animals but my favorite are dogs - all shapes and sizes. Cats are welcome too 🐱
for dog stays I would bring them for walks to nearby parks LEASHED (please bring your own leashes!) of course and take care of their bathroom needs (and poop bags!) :D
Cat stays I’ll just chill with them until they get bored of me and strut away but that’s okay because I respect their space ✌🏼
For bookings more than 1 day please provide sufficient food/snacks/toys/bowls for your pet :)
I don’t own a car so drop offs would be necessary but I can meet you anywhere around QVM if parking is a hassle!
I’m most of the time studying at home so if you want photo updates of your pet please let me know and I’ll try to accommodate but sometimes it might slip my mind :)

My pup’s dog sitter was away on holiday and Katie took a last minute booking. I thought everything was gonna be okay but no it wasn’t. I was worried about my pup all the time I was away. Asks about my pup’s behaviour and how I deal with it when it’s just normal dog behaviour (ie barking at the door, playing with shoes, playful biting ). Doesn’t send updates unless asked to, I had to text her EVERY DAY for an update. Didn’t specify that her house wasn’t smoke-free.
She sprayed perfume all over my pup to cover up cigarette smell. My pup’s face and body stinks of cigarette.
