Hi there, I am a 31 year old full time teacher at McKinnon Secondary College. I am a very active person and love going to the beach and going for a run. I have grown up around pets and always put my hand up to pet sit for my friends and family. I have also volunteered at the Cat Protection Society and the Lost Dogs Home.

I’m a passionate animal lover with experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I genuinely love having pets as part of my everyday life. Coming home to an animal at the end of the day is one of the best feelings, and I enjoy building trusting, affectionate relationships with the pets I care for.

I have experience with dogs of different personalities and energy levels. I especially love active dogs that enjoy walks, playtime, and getting outside, but I’m just as happy to wind down with some relaxed cuddle time on the couch. Making sure dogs are both physically exercised and emotionally settled is really important to me.

I also have my own cat, so I’m very comfortable and confident caring for cats. I understand that cats have their own unique personalities and boundaries, and I’m very in tune with how to handle them gently, respectfully, and lovingly. Whether it’s playtime, quiet company, or giving them space, I always follow what the cat needs.

I work full time as a teacher, which means I’m organised, reliable, and responsible. I have time before and after work to walk pets, spend quality time with them, and ensure they’re well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to provide a calm, happy, and safe environment at all times.
