I approach pet care holistically. It is not just about taking care of their physical needs. Dogs and cats have emotional and mental needs too, and I endeavour when sitting to ensure these needs are met. I bring games to play on a sit. I want to enrich their lives so they are happy whilst I care for them. I will treat any pet as if it is my own pet. I want pet parents to see me as an adopted family member who they can trust to return time and again when needed. I do not host in my own home as this would upset my own precious feline fur kids, and I feel that fur babies prefer their own familiar surroundings. 

I am a mature lady (50) who plans to do this until the day I die. I always ask about pet routines, as this is important, and I will do my utmost best to ensure care follows such routines. I bring my own bed and will set it up where the pets are, so you know I am with them if they need anything. 

I have been pet sitting both dogs and cats for two years, am a crazy cat lady begining from toddlerhood, and in this time have been owned by many cats, both pedigreed and a domestic most of which have lived into their senior years (16-18 years human). 

I have shown cats and bred a litter of kittens(abyssinian. My current furkids are 14, one requiring medication twice daily, and a special diet. They are Turkish Van Cats, which are a semi longhaired breed- similar to a ragdoll) Backing this is a certificate 3 in animal studies (behaviour), from Tafe. Since I work with many different dogs and cats, I would prefer pets be vaccinated and treated for parasites.
