By day, I am a Project Manager for a B2B Marketing Platform in Sydney. The rest of the time, I’m a reliable animal lover who grew up with cats and recently discovered bunnies are pretty great too.
I work full-time Mon-Fri and am studying part time but am generally home in the evenings and weekends. If your cat requires someone home all the time I may not be your gal as I do attend the office and uni once or twice a week and play sport on Thursdays evenings.
I am looking for cat sitting gigs where I would come to you as my current lease doesn’t allow pets.
I took up cat sitting in 2018 as I was not in a position to have a cat of my own but wanted some cat time. My most recent sit was six weeks and saw me taking care of 4 indoor and 4 outdoor cats. I take on very limited bookings and prefer repeat clients over one offs, as I like to develop a healthy bond with your pet and understand with cats in particular, this can take time.
If I am sitting for your cat and staying in your house you can expect to find your home as tidy or tidier than you left it. I’m very respectful of people’s property and will treat your home with care.
By way of a little background to me personally... I grew up in Melbourne and moved to Sydney about seven years ago but have lived in Philadelphia and New York along the way. When I’m not stopping to pat animals I meet on the street you can find me reading, baking, doing yoga or playing dodgeball.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Ruth is a frequent flyer at our house. Always such a pleasure having her.
The house is immaculate, she looks after the cat really well, even gave flea treatment for me because I forgot!
Extension of first stay.
Ruth is so flexible with me tacking on extra days, it’s so nice and easy to work with her if things change for me
