Hi! I'm Melissa! My family and I have owned dogs for over 30 years and love spending time walking, cuddling, petting, bathing and snuggling our pooches. We've raised many pups to older dogs over these years.  

Services

I specialise in minding/walking/bathing (extra cost for bathing) small to medium dogs in my home: poodles (and their many varieties!), maltese, poms, cocker spaniels etc. Walks are for 30 minutes, provided once or twice a day, depending on your preference. We make sure to stay on the grass or in the shade when walking, and frequent our local park to play in the shade (on leash public park, not a dog park).  

My cavoodle Poppy loves to play and snuggle with her visiting friends. We also visit others' homes local to us if you have a bigger dog in need of some attention throughout the day! I also offer feeding services morning and night in your home if needed. I can administer oral medication to your dog and provide basic training for stimulation and fun.

We host a maximum of 2 small dogs at a time, as we already have Poppy. We have adults home 98% of the time as I work from home, and my fiance works shift work. This means your pooch has company in pooch and adult human form day and night. We only ever our house for a maximum of an hour at a time.  We can only accommodate small-medium dogs who are vaccinated, neutered/spayed, and are friendly with other dogs and kids. 

We have dogs staying with us throughout the school term and in holidays. Our dog-loving kids (11 and 13) will entertain and comfort your pet with our direct supervision at all times. Poppy loves to sleep, and is allowed anywhere downstairs (including on furniture), and on the couch upstairs. Bedrooms are off limits to all dogs, including Poppy.

Our whole downstairs area and backyard is safe, pet friendly, and fun for your pet. We have a large undercover porch area, and a large grassed backyard for plenty of play. The backyard is fully fenced, with high fences for our little jumpers. We have a double gated yard, with a gate between the front and back yards, and a gate at the front of the house, ensuring dogs are always safe even if a visitor comes in the front yard. We have a doggy door for pooches who can make their own way outside, and plenty of hands to respond to dogs who prefer a butler service to make their way in and outside. We spend our day downstairs so your pet will never be left without a friendly human too. We would love to meet your pooch today!
