As an international student living far from home, being around animals has brought me comfort and joy. I have a dog back home who I miss dearly, and spending time with pets here in Australia has really helped ease my homesickness. I currently live with a dog, and having that daily companionship has made a huge difference in my overall well-being and happiness during my stay. I’ve always had a big heart for animals and feel naturally connected to them. Pet sitting would not only allow me to share that care and love, but also give back some of the emotional support animals have given me. I’m responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets—whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just being a calming presence. Being a pet sitter is more than a job to me—it’s something that truly brings me joy and makes me feel at home.
