Hello! =D

My name is Abeer. Kind-hearted and friendly, I hold all the knowledge of a Certificate 2 in Animal Studies and work experience with a local vet clinic. My most recent work was providing enrichment care, feeding and walks for the animals from the Animal Welfare League.

I love being around animals though never having been allowed a pet growing up, I thankfully was able to walk and look after cats and dogs for the family (Chihuahua mix, Border Collie, Kelpie). I always make it a mission to say hello to the stray cats when holidaying in my hometown. One of my goals is to volunteer abroad to help the gibbons and seals.

Sometimes it takes time for an animal to bond with someone new, but rest assured I have the patience and understanding to show them that I am a reliable friend. My gentle and calm approach makes me get along well with anxious dogs too. Happy to take on dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs. 🐶Can sit for puppies as long as their biting phase is not too excessive.

🐶Able to administer medication but not injections.
