Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I am a huge animal-lover. I’m a uni student studying post-grad Law at Melbourne University, with a wide availability for house sitting, home boarding and home visits. I absolutely adore animals and will spoil your pet rotten!
I’ve always grown up with pets, and have owned or looked after many animals including dogs, cats, birds, lizards and bunnies! I grew up with two Rottweilers who were absolutely gorgeous and now have a little fluffy Bichon/Maltese/Shitzu/Toy-poodle (His name is Tobi and is pictured above multiple times!) - so I love and can look after responsibly all dogs, big or small! I'm a cat lover and had my own cat, Chester, for over 10 years before he passed away. In addition, I've looked after two birds (Lorikeet and a budgie) as well as a Bearded Dragon, and I know what signs to check for health and anxiety in a dragon (i.e. droppings and skin colouring).
I’ve now (by chance) rescued two dogs whilst travelling overseas - one injured puppy in Bali whom my friends and I raised money for to pay veterinary bills, the other a lost/abandoned little boy in China (the Cavalier-cross pictured above) whom is now living happily with a friend of mine near Shanghai! I also rescued an injured Rainbow Lorikeet (whom I named Mozart and is pictured above) and fostered him for a few weeks before eventually finding him a place at a wildlife sanctuary. Needless to say I go above and beyond for animals and thus I’m very excited to work with Pawshake pets.
I have a small outdoor courtyard and there are mutliple off the leash dog parks by my house which I will take your dog/s to (at least once a day!). I am approachable, flexible to your needs, reliable and very clean. A phone call, email or video chat is welcome for any questions you may have!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Booked my very needy pug into see Charlotte for a day including overnight. She was very responsive and accommodating in her initial communications. From all accounts Albert the Pug had a spindled time which even included the extra treatment of having Charlotte sleep with him as to stop his whining. Highly recommended for dog sitting.
