Hello :) I’m interested in pet/house sitting as well as dog walking. I believe that pets feel safer and calmer in their own homes so unfortunately don’t offer boarding (plus I don’t have a yard or balcony). After reading my profile, if you have any questions or would like to enquire about my availability, please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Tess.
ABOUT ME: My love for animals began from day one and I had many types of pets growing up in country Victoria (German Shepherds, a cat, a Dwarf rabbit, guinea pigs, love birds, budgies, a mouse, goldfish and other fish). I also used to love collecting tadpoles and rescued any injured wildlife I'd come across during adventures. Nowadays I get distracted by dogs in public and will ask for a pat if I come across you and your dog!
AVAILABILITY: I work part time (9 day fortnight, 9-5) at a not-for-profit organisation. I am available to walk your dog from 5.30pm on weeknights (pending traffic!) as well as weekends (pending availability - I tend to be home most weeknights though) for as long as your dog is used to and enjoys. I am available for overnight pet/house sitting on weekends (again, pending availablity - every second Monday I don’t work).
EXPERIENCE: I regularly hang out with my sister's French Bulldog and dog/house sit when their family go on holiday. I have helped out colleagues in the past with dog/house sitting as well as having a pet rabbit stay at my previous apartment. I treat others’ homes like my own and leave them as good as I found them (or better). Also feel free to read through my reviews from Pawshakers!
Tess was an excellent pet sitter. We received regular photos of the dogs and the house felt tidier than when we left. We were very happy.
Tess is absolutely lovely and is so amazing with our girls.
