Do you ever miss someone else’s cat/dog?

Do you wonder whether they are getting enough cuddles?

Do you stop strangers at cafes/ restaurants/ on the street just to pat their dog?

Well, that’s me. I love animals that much, I even stopped eating them and proudly follow a plant based diet.

About me:

I spent my childhood on a large property in Tasmania so I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m the kid who had a pet turtle, would pat snakes at the local zoo, and even brought a blue tongue lizard into the house once- much to my parents horror (true story).

I am now a middle aged full time legal professional, who recently achieved crazy cat lady status. Stradivarius is 16 years young, and the love of my life. He came to stay with me for a month, and had such a good time, that he decided to stay with me fur-ever. It is true what they say, that pets find their way to those who need them the most.

My experience:

I’m an experienced pet sitter having dealt with pets young, old, big, small, with special needs- including behavioural issues and administering (oral and topical) medication.

I’m the first person my friends call if they are going on holiday and need a pet sitter. My friends are in fact the reason why I am on Pawshake today. What initially started out as a hobby, quickly graduated into a second job.

I am a non-smoker, mature and reliable pet sitter. I will always turn up on time, and I will always ensure your home is left clean and tidy- as all my 5 star reviews can attest to. I have a current security clearance, full drivers license and my own car (which means I can travel anywhere in the ACT and regional surrounds). I'm also qualified in pet first aid.

My services:

Being a full- time cat Mum, I am available for house visits on weekends. Each visit is 30-60 minutes in duration where I will ensure your pet is fed, watered and entertained.

I know how much I miss my pet when I’m in the office, let alone on holiday. I also know how important your peace of mind is. Which is why I always provide photo and video updates at each home visit. When you know your pet is happy and relaxed, that translates to a stress-free holiday for you.

Finally, I offer a complimentary meet and greet with you and your pet before booking a service to make sure you’re comfortable. This is to also make sure your pet likes me- although I am yet to meet a pet who doesn't!
