I'm a 20 year old full time uni student studying zoology. I'm aiming to work in animal care or conservation, specifically with native reptiles.

I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have plenty of experience with care and husbandry of many kinds of pets. I am confident in the care of rodents, reptiles, amphibians, poultry, dogs and cats. I live near the North Pine River, so there is plenty of dog friendly parkland nearby and some perfect spots for a swim. 

Big energetic dogs are my comfort zone 

 and have a particular passion for rats and mice, which I've kept for around ten years now.

Currently I have 15 pets, including a dog, a cat, rats, snakes, frogs, and chickens. In the past I have had guinea pigs, mice, lizards, fish, and axolotls.

Due to the number of animals at my home, I would only be able to host those I am confident will get along, particularly with my dog Rose, who can be a little energetic for some dogs' tastes!
