Hi, I'm simply looking for the chance to look after pets for some extra income as well as the chance to housesit as was the original intention of finding a website such as this.

When it comes to housesitting, I have done this on several occasions which have always had pets that need tending to. I have had several pets since childhood and am fully aware that every animal has a different personality, therefore each pet having different needs.

I find that dogs generally warm up to me pretty quickly and I’m equally as good with cats and their demanding personalities. :-)

I love the dog park down at Maylands along the Swan which I go to with my partner who has two dogs, Zeus and Penny. Penny was a rescue dog who was badly abused in her first few years of life and has gone through severe trauma by her previous alcoholic owner. Now she is brimming with life and isn’t scared of coming up to people and socialising with other dogs. I even taught her how to swim at a lake down south in WA at the Kokoro Retreat!

On encountering this website I realised the potential to do so much more than just housit. This is a chance to help with my fitness, should I be required to take a dog for daily walks instead of staying at the homeowners house.
