Hello dog lovers! I have been dog sitting since my beloved beagle Banjo passed away in February 2024. I miss him dearly but my wife and I want to travel so we don’t want to get another dog of our own – yet.  

Next best thing? Give our love and individual attention to your beloved pet.  

Accordingly I would like to offer my services as a dog sitter/boarder/host (HALF PRICE FOR BEAGLES!) for your fur baby in my home in Parkwood on the Gold Coast.  

I will look after your dog exclusively. Your dog will be the only pet at my house whilst I am caring for him or her. 

(HALF PRICE FOR BEAGLES AND BEAGALIERS! I am still missing my beagle Banjo badly - so would love to care for your beagle whilst you are away for up to two weeks. Make contact with me and I will offer the half price discount (reducing cost to $22 per day) before you book. Limited time offer.

I work as a part time writer (semi-retired) from home so your dog will have company and supervision nearly all of the time. In fact, since I started on Pawshake I have never left a dog alone. Every single dog I have cared for (to date) has had company 24/7 for the duration of the dog sit.

My Uni student daughter is home with me most days, and my wife arrives home for the evening after work. Between the three of us, your dog will get lots of love, care and attention. 

If your dog is toilet trained he or she will have the run of the house and be kept indoors - but we have a doggy door/flap so your pet can go outside to a fenced off backyard at will. We will leave the back door open if your dog can't use the doggy flap. 

During the day your dog will sit/sleep by my side whilst I work from my home computer desk. At night your dog will sit on the couch with us as we watch TV – before accompanying us to our bedroom (after a quick toileting walk) to sleep in comfort for the night.  

We also have a kennel/dog house on our deck just outside our bedroom sliding door – should your dog prefer to sleep outside.  

Your dog will also be walked twice a day to my nearby park and treated like a member of the family.

Please note that I am happy to care for dogs up to 12 years old providing they are in good health. Also my house has a stairwell from my deck to the backyard - so your pet needs to be able to walk up and down stairs. Please refer to the photo in my profile gallery.
