Hello everyone!
I work by day and pet sit by afternoon, I know that I will provide a good professional service taking care of your beloved pets.
My name is Amber and I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and absolutely love what I do.
I have worked consistently as a vet nurse for 15 years now and still currently at a lovely small clinic in Townsville.
I am still just as passionate about animals and their care as the day I began my career which is why I have so much job satisfaction and room for more animal interaction!.
I currently work in clinic Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
On my days off I catch up on cleaning my home, studying, schooling my kids, cooking for my family and taking my fur babies to the beach!
I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and often aquire random animals from work along the way!
I will care and love your fur babies as I do my own and will keep them safe at all times. My experience allows me to be very attentive and pick up on any problems I may notice in your pet so if anything were to go wrong, you can relax knowing they are in safe hands.
I am also recover certified (CPR for Dogs and Cats).
I am offering nursing things as well as caring, just let me know what you might need. If you would like me to come medicate your pet (with your pets own prescription medication) for your visit please feel free to ask me. If your pet is on long term meds or just needs a worming tablet I can assist you with this and other nursing things we could discuss further.
I will only be able to provide home visits as my schedule is too busy for anything else. I can assist with morning visits and afternoon visits while your away. Very special cases I may consider having your dog at my home, depending on their size, temperament and how they get along with my animals.
My husband is also a fellow animal lover and would be more then happy to take bookings if I am booked for the dates you require. Just let me know :).
I will provide updates and pictures of your pets during my time with them!

She looked after our Turtle, fish, and family dog. When a family emergency came up. We got updated pics everyday which the children loved and she cared for our pets as if they where her own. I can not rate her highly enough.
We are so pleased with Amber's care of our pets while we were away for a few days. She has excellent communication, and set up a time to meet with me prior to our trip so she could get to know our fur family. We received photos while we were away and it was great to see our cat & dog playing and comfortable with Amber. We came home to relaxed, happy pets due to Amber's care. Thank you so much, Amber!
