My husband and I live in a town house with a small decked backyard, it has a tiered garden area big enough for a small doggie to play in.

We have had many pets over the years and even though we are now retired we really just can't commit to having a pet full time anymore as we travel a lot. Pet sitting is an opportunity for us to have the company and companionship of a doggie without being locked in and having to find a sitter for it whenever we are away.

Over the last ten years we have looked after my daughters two toy poodles many times while they travelled. We often go for long walks on the beach or around the town, they even come to the cafe for "coffee" with us.

We can accommodate up to two small house dogs at a time. We enjoy having a little doggie to snuggle on the lounge with us of an evening and they can even sleep on the end of the bed if that's what they are used to. There are doggie doors from the living room and laundry for the dogs to come and go to the backyard as they please, so if they are used to sleeping in the laundry they can still access the living room also.
