Hi there!

I’m Grace, a 31 year old originally from Yorkshire, UK. I spent 8 months working full time as a Civil Servant and pet sitting full time in London (through a different app) before making the temporary move over to Australia at the start of 2025. I petsat for a friend's mum in Adelaide in four months and am now in Sydney.

I have grown up around animals. As a kid, our neighbours had a beautiful cat who would spend time with us. She’d wait for me on the drive-way in the morning and we’d have a cuddle before I walked to school.

One of my earliest memories is sitting in a dog bed full of Westie puppies. My Nan regularly had litters and I grew up around puppies of different breeds as a result. We also had our own Bassett Hound called Bruno who loved to cuddle in front of the fire, and also Douglas the Springer Spaniel who was an absolutely incredible dog , even if he was a difficult little sod!

I also had two guinea pigs who I was solely responsible for from the age of 9. They both lived a happy life until the age of 7! We also had a hamster later on.

I love travelling and exploring new places, house plants, food, decaf mochas, long walks and relaxing in parks. I volunteered for an Urban Farm a few years ago and handled plenty of rodents and reptiles! I would especially love to find a regular bird friend (as long as they don’t bite)!

I’m friendly, responsible, a good communicator and well organised. I am laid back but have high expectations of myself and pet owners. I endeavour to do my best for pets to thrive in my company. In return, I expect owners to be cooperative, easy to communicate with and to arrive to a clean and comfy home.

I am solely offering petsitting in owner’s homes, home visits, and dog walking services. I will happily look after plants and will of course clean up after myself. I am not looking to take on extra tasks or chores outside of this unless agreed prior to me accepting the job.

My focus is on keeping your pet safe and happy. However, I will not sacrifice my well-being due to pet or host behaviour. Where possible, I prefer to FaceTime or meet in person in advance to check that we share the same values and that we are a good fit.
