My name is Lily Labeille,

I live with my parents and my younger brother who is 15. We are a french/australian family living in north Canberra. We moved to Australia 2 years ago. I have always loved dogs and animals in general, and I’ve been used to caring for pets from a young age — feeding them, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. One of my favorite things is going on hikes with dogs, giving them exercise while we explore outdoors.

I grew up surrounded by friends who had dogs, and I often looked after their pets while they were away, either in their homes or in mine. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, playing, and maintaining their normal routines so they feel comfortable in their owner’s absence. I understand how important consistency is for animals.  

In my daily routine with pets, I make sure they get regular walks suited to their energy level, playtime to keep them mentally engaged, and quiet rest periods so they don’t feel overwhelmed. But I always try and adapt to what the pet needs. I’m also comfortable with shy or anxious pets, giving them space and time to build trust at their own pace. 

I am patient, attentive, and respectful of each animal’s needs, whether that means energetic playtime or quiet companionship. I’m also very mindful of cleanliness, safety, and following any specific instructions provided by owners. 

To ensure a healthy environment for all animals, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.
