Hi my name is Barry, I am retired from the IT industry and now enjoy doing handyman jobs arounbd pur home and for friends. My wife, Joy, is a teacher at a nearby school. Our two sons have both left home and married wonderful girls and now have children of their own. They often come round for a visit and a swim in our pool.

We have a Beagle cross King Charles Cavalier (known as Beaglier) named Sasha. She is an old lady of over 100 (doggy) years old, who absolutely loves people and is well used to having canine (and human) visitors in her domain. She does have a dislike of small white poodly dogs (SWPD) - probably because the neighbour dog at our previous house was a SWPD and the two of them used to shout who-knows-what obscenities at each other through the fence.

We have a house in a fully fenced garden in quiet area of Joyner near the golf course. Nearby, within easy dog-walking distance, is a green belt area alongside a creek and we often are the only people there and then we allow our dog off leash. We are geared to cater for either indoor or outdoor dogs, but indoor dogs will need to respect our house rules that only two legged occupants are allowed into the bedrooms.

We love dogs (but I am allergic to cats) and many times have looked after dogs on behalf of others, including our vet friend who is very fussy about who she allows to host her thoroughly spoilt Doberman. We have also had good experience training young dogs and could give training lessons while your best friend is staying over at our house.
