Hi, my name is Robin! Dogs and many other animals have always been a much loved part of my life.

Please Note: For dog walking, home visits and overnight pet sitting my preference is to provide cuddles and care in IVANHOE, IVANHOE EAST, BELLFIELD, EAGLEMONT, ALPHINGTON, NORTHCOTE and FAIRFIELD. Some areas of HEIDELBERG, ROSANNA and THORNBURY may be fine too. Thanks for your understanding:) While I have a car I also like the option of using public transport or cycling to visit homes and pets.

I grew up with multiple pets including our Boxer named Brutus, a black cat named Midnight, rabbits, birds, mice and more Doggies. Now I live with Indie our rescue terrier, and with my family. I am an experienced dog carer, in particular but enjoy playing with a range of animals - I am not scared of mice! Pre kids - before Pawshake was a thing - I had a business minding and walking dogs with many walks and cuddles. 

I have participated in dog training programs and will happily encourage simple dog obedience skills such as heeling or sitting, if desired. I am a reliable, friendly and caring person who recently retired, giving me plenty of time and flexibility on weekdays and weekends to look after your furbabies! 

I offer:

 - Dog walking

 Once or twice per day, maximum 45 minutes. A stroll or a fast walk is fine with me, just let me know your expectations. If you are training your dog to heel or to sit at roads, for example, I'll follow that routine too. 

- Visiting pets once or twice per day at their home

 Usually 30 minutes per visit, depending on circumstances. I will feed and play with pets, check water, administer medication and check general welfare. While the pets are the priority, you can ask me to do some light plant watering, clear mail and put bins in or out. Happy to send daily Happy Snaps!

 - Overnight pet sitting at the pet's home. 

I will be respectful of your home and privacy as well as caring for your pets and home.

Pet care includes walks, feeding, play time, cleaning litter trays and poo pickup according to owners' usual routine. If your pet is used to sleeping in your bedroom I am happy to continue that. I’ll also bring in bins, clear mail and water plants.  

Pet Sitting is for approximately 24 hour periods (for example, 10 am to 10am) but I will certainly try to fit in with your schedule. My expectation is that I am generally spending the day at your home though I usually spend a couple of hours around late afternoon/early evening with my young people at my home. 

I am fully vaxxed, have a current Working With Children check and a current Police check.
