Hi, my name is Robin!  

Dogs and many other animals have always been a much loved part of my life.

I grew up with multiple pets including our Boxer named Brutus, a black cat named Midnight, rabbits, birds and mice. Now I live with Indie our rescue terrier, and with my family. I am an experienced dog carer, in particular, but enjoy playing with a range of animals - I am not scared of mice! Pre kids - before Pawshake was a thing - I had a business minding and walking dogs with many walks and cuddles.  

Please note my strict travel limits below - I generally walk, cycle or use public transport to visit homes and pets so have limits on travel. I do have access to a car for overnight stays in particular. I am interested in Holiday Pet Care or Short Term Pet Care. 

For Pet Home Visits and Dog Walking my work area includes IVANHOE, IVANHOE EAST, EAGLEMONT, BELLFIELD and ALPHINGTON. 

For Petsitting (overnight), my work area includes the suburbs named above plus FAIRFIELD and NORTHCOTE.

I have participated in dog training programs and will happily encourage simple dog obedience skills such as heeling or sitting, if desired. 

I am a reliable, friendly and caring person who recently retired, giving me time and flexibility on weekdays and weekends to look after your pets. I'm happy to send daily Happy Snaps! 

I offer:

- Visiting pets once or twice per day at their home

IVANHOE, IVANHOE EAST, EAGLEMONT, BELLFIELD and ALPHINGTON

 30 minutes per visit. I will feed and play with pets, check water, administer medication and check general welfare. While the pets are the priority, you are welcome to ask me to do some light plant watering, clear mail and put bins in or out. 

- Dog Walking

IVANHOE, IVANHOE EAST, EAGLEMONT, BELLFIELD and ALPHINGTON. Dog Walking is generally for owners who are on holiday or need a short term dog walker.

 - Overnight pet sitting at the pet's home. 

IVANHOE, IVANHOE EAST, EAGLEMONT, BELLFIELD, ALPHINGTON, FAIRFIELD and NORTHCOTE. 

I will be respectful of your home and privacy as well as caring for your pets and home.

Pet care includes walks, feeding, play time, cleaning litter trays and poo pickup according to owners' usual routine. If your pet is used to sleeping in your bedroom I am happy to continue that. I’ll also put bins in or out, clear mail and water plants.  

Pet Sitting is for approximately 24 hour periods (for example, 10 am to 10am) but I will certainly try to fit in with your schedule. My expectation is that I am generally spending the day at your home although I usually spend a couple of hours around early evening with my family at my home.

I am fully vaxxed, have a current Working With Children check and a current Police check.
