Located near Launceston CBD, I've been both a veterinary nurse and animal attendant, now studying animal science. Experienced in special needs pets and administrating medication.

History

I grew up with a variety of different animals; guinea pigs and rabbits, cats, dogs, budgies, chooks and ducks, horses and a few lambs, from an early age I knew the responsibility and care animals required.

I worked at several vet clinics in Melbourne's north as a young adult, later at animal shelters as an animal attendant.

Our family

We are a family of 4 humans, 1 dog and 2 cats, and a few chickens (usually free range, they can be securely enclosed for safety)

Their stay

Your pet will spend little, if any, time on their own. I am a uni student and my husband works from home, so they will spend their time with human company. We also have an old dog, Randy who is quite social but not pushy - very easy going boy.

They will have access to most of the house, for the quieter pets, we can provide quiet, isolated rooms to help them feel safe. We have a fully enclosed yard, along with a second run if your dog prefers to run solo

At night, unless otherwise specified, your pet will be able to choose where they would like to sleep, providing

bedding

is preferred to

stress and give them some familiarity.

Any small pets (birds, guinea pigs etc). will need to have a secure enclosure. Poultry care is also welcome

Pet 'must have'

Any animal that comes to stay on-site must be safe around children and other dogs. We welcome an initial meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along.Pet health

Vaccination is encouraged, to protect your pet as many animals pass through our home

All animals will receive flea treatment on arrival, please advise if your pet is on a flea preventative treatment, or message me if you would like more information.

I would be preferable to have treating veterinary details on hand if the need arises.
