Hi! My name is Sterre, I’m 22 years old and I recently moved to Melbourne. I currently work as an au pair for a family with three children, which means I am used to responsibility, structure, and caring for others with patience and attention. I studied Social Work, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy, and a calm mindset—qualities that are just as important when caring for pets.

I grew up with a dog and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. During my student years, I also worked as a dog sitter, caring for different dogs with varying personalities and energy levels. I am comfortable looking after puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I enjoy adapting to each pet’s unique needs. Whether a dog is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I always take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. I also enjoy long walks and outdoor activities, making walks a fun and positive experience.

Safety is very important to me. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, stay alert during walks, and make sure pets are supervised and secure at all times. I only accept vaccinated pets to ensure a safe environment for everyone. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and my desire to give owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are cared for with love, patience, and reliability.
