Hello Puppy Parents!

Let's talk Casa Del Pooch!

To say that my husband and I are dog obsessed would be an understatement. Our lives revolve around our babies and we wouldn't have it any other way. For us, it is a huge decision who we choose to look after our two crazy Frenchies Lou and Anouk and sure it is the same for you parents.

I will treat your special person like they are my own and provide them with so much love and attention. I use the Force Free Training Method so it is all positive vibes here! We go for walks every day and you can expect photo updates at every opportunity (you will get sick of me) to reassure you they are in good hands. A puppy photo shoot is also not unusual!

OUR HOUSE / You can see in my photos we basically have a dog park for a backyard. 950sqm of pure jungle heaven! We live next door to Holdfast Dog Centre on Brighton Oval which is open for all on weekends (picture massive dog playground). Only a 5 minute drive to both local dog parks, Glengowrie and Brighton. Our local Vet is Brighton Veterinary Hospital only 2 minutes away by car and the team there are highly experienced and incredibly loving.

HOME LIFE / You're also probably wondering how much time I am able to spend with your fur child during the day. I am lucky enough to work from home with my own drone cinematography company, so many hours of each day are spent in front of the computer, editing and keeping an eye on your fur babies. I also enjoy working on my furniture restorations in my shed and working on my apprenticeship to become a Luthier (repairing string instruments). I also study full time. Basically I'm always here! My husband works a typical 9-5 in IT only 5 minutes around the corner from home, so he is always popping in for cuddles during the day.

SAFETY / Please do not worry about this. I am the defintion of a helicopter dog parent! We have 4 metre tall hedges spanning the perimeter of the backyard with fencing on either side because where there is a will, there is a way for those cheeky ones. We have ensured that our neighbours have structurally sound fences on their side of the hedge and check in with them monthly to ensure nothing has changed. We have a brand new electronic gate and intercom, and then we have a second gate to access the backyard which is where all furry friends spend their time. We allow them to be both indoors and outdoors, of course. But if your dog is an outside dog, then no place is more perfect than here, and we can keep our dogs outside too during the day. Fair is fair. Please stay tuned as our 6 car garage is going to be converted into a dog play area!

EXPERIENCE / Life-long. Although no professional experience per se, my childhood dogs were 2 Great Dane x Labradors who lived an incredible 17 years and 9 years, therefore I have some basic experience in home nursing a range of health issues such as arthritis and leg injuries. I have experience in fostering rescue dogs. I have also volunteered at the AWL in the past and try to do so whenever I can. I am actively involved in the French Bulldogs of Adelaide Community and organise play dates regularly. In summary, I have had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of different sizes and breeds.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR BOOKING /

/ Unfortunately we only take 1 doggy family for boarding at this stage. Apologies if we cannot accommodate your pooch at this time but we hope that we will get to meet you in the future and please do not hesitate to ask us for any recommendations!

/ We only accept up to date vaccinated, desexed, wormed and toilet trained dogs into our home. If your dog is not vaccinated, that's okay, I can still come to you and check-up on them should you want to choose 'Home Visit' under my 'Services'. Please bring your puppy folder to the meet and greet so that I can sight these details.

/ The per night booking for boarding is for a 24 hour period so if your pick up or drop off time is significantly longer than this, you will need to purchase an extra night in the booking system by choosing a day either before or after your requested period. Please mention in your enquiry once you find out your times, so that we can have a chat about it. I am really flexible nonetheless.

/ The day care hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm. Please drop off and pick up between this time frame. As with my boarders, please advise if you will need an earlier or later time to drop or collect your pooch and we can arrange with the possibility of a small fee.

/ Unfortunately we do not accept dogs younger than 1 years old, with the exception of enquiries with a referral from Tracey at Fifth Ave Frenchies.

/ Please let me know if your dog has not had much socialization with other dogs, or if this is their first time venturing out in to the world of doggy day care and boarding. This is in the best interests of both your dog and the other dogs staying with us at the time because our priority is making sure that everybody is having an enjoyable time away from home.

/ For boarders, please bring your babe's bed, favourite toys, a jumper for cold days if you have one, enough food and treats for the entire stay with instructions, and any medications that need to be administered, lead/harness and their own food and water bowl + anything else specific to them. Everything else is covered here! Please advise if you have fed them prior to dropping them off.
