Hi there all pet lovers, my husband Laurence and I would like to offer doggy daycare and dog boarding at our home in Chadstone, Victoria. We both love animals of all kinds, shapes and personalities.
We are a proud owner of Benji, a beautiful kelpie x border collie. We had Benji when he was 8 weeks old and we cannot even imagine our life without him. For that reason, we know how stressful it is to leave your pet behind as that’s exactly how we feel when we go on holiday.
We live close to lots of parks and reserves so there are plenty of places to play, walk and entertain your furry friend. We have both been surrounded by animals since we were kids so we can ensure that your baby will be in great care and have lots and lots of attention. Your baby will have access to indoors and outdoors, fully secured backyard with a deck area, and 1-2 walks a day (duration depends on your dog’s needs, usually 20-30 minutes per walk). Our yard is also quite big for your baby to roam outside. During the night, your baby will be kept indoor same as Benji.
For dog boarding, we would encourage you to have a meet and greet beforehand, and please bring anything that your baby requires. Food is not included as it is better if you supply the same food your baby receives at home.
Your dog will preferably be desexed and well-behaved. We would also prefer if you could book in for a doggy day care prior to a long-term booking, especially if your dog has not stayed with a sitter before.
Where will we walk your dog?
There is a big off-leash dog park called Batesford Reserve at the end of our street (about 10m walk), where your baby can meet lots of friends and run freely. We also drive Benji to Mt Waverley Reserve (6m drive) and Ashwood Reserve (2m drive). Occassionally we take him to the beach (25m drive).
What information do we need to know about your pet before accepting a booking?
Please let us know whether your pet has any issues whether it be behavioural, medication or other. We would also like to meet you and your pet before we accept your booking unless it is an emergency.
What is the estimated time that we will spend with your pet each day?
I am at home full time and my husband is also at home sometimes to entertain and look after your furbaby.
